I recently stayed at Hotel Arizona in Florence and found it to be a charming boutique hotel. The location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore nearby attractions on foot. However, there were some issues with the room's air conditioning and WiFi connection during my stay that did detract from the experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable and spacious, but the air conditioning didn't work adequately, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. I appreciated the amenities like a safe and mini-fridge, although the room did feel somewhat outdated, particularly with the fixtures.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering tips and advice about the city. They even provided assistance with my luggage, which I appreciated given my knee brace.
Location

Hotel Arizona is in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to major sites like the Ponte Vecchio and Galleria dell'Accademia. This made it easy for me to explore the authentic areas of Florence.

The breakfast spread was lovely, with fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, and quality espresso. The seating area was charming, making for a great start to the day.
Facilities

While the hotel offered various facilities, I found the tiny elevator quite inconvenient, especially with luggage. However, there were other helpful services available.

5.8/10

I had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Arizona, with highlights being the friendly service and comfortable rooms. The owners and staff truly went above and beyond to assist me when I injured my knee, making a potentially challenging situation much easier to navigate. While the location is charming and quiet, it can feel a bit removed from the main attractions after a long day of sightseeing.

Rooms

My room was comfortable with excellent air conditioning, although it could use a bit of modernization. The bathrooms were recently updated and quite nice, but overall the decor felt dated.

The service was really friendly and helpful. The owners, who are also the staff, made sure I had everything I needed during my stay and were genuinely caring when I had my knee issue.
Location

Located in a calm area, the hotel is still fairly close to the city center. While it’s a lovely neighborhood and perfect for those wanting a quieter experience, it can feel a bit out of the way after full days of exploring.

Breakfast was a nice selection with fruit, pastries, and scrambled eggs. The adjacent restaurant, owned by the same people, was good and offered great food at reasonable prices.
Facilities

The hotel offers various facilities like car hire and laundry. While I appreciated the amenities, the overall feel of the hotel could be improved.

The location was convenient for visiting major attractions in Florence, though I did find the room a bit cramped for my liking. Overall, the dining options and helpfulness of the staff were standout features, but some areas felt dated and could use an update.

7.4/10

My stay at Hotel Arizona was filled with mixed experiences. I appreciated the efficient use of space in my small but comfortable room, and the welcoming atmosphere created by the family-run staff was a highlight. However, I did notice some dated decor and issues with cleanliness that detracted from the experience. Overall, it’s a cozy spot away from the tourist throngs, perfect for a tranquil stay in Florence. 😊

Rooms
7.0
My room was small and a bit dated, but clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had been updated. I found the decor charming despite its wear. However, it could use a refresh, as I noticed some wear and tear like peeling wallpaper.
Service
9.0
The service was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The staff made me feel welcome and took great care in addressing any issues promptly, which was much appreciated. They were especially accommodating when it came to storing my luggage.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, about a 10-minute walk from the city center and key attractions. This made it a peaceful retreat while still allowing easy access to all the historical sites.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was a good spread of typical continental options alongside scrambled eggs and delicious coffee drinks. It set a lovely tone for the day and was a nice perk of my stay.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities were basic, they were functional. There was a small elevator and daily housekeeping, which kept my room tidy. However, there weren't many luxurious amenities, which might leave some expecting more.

I had a great stay at Hotel Arizona, but not without some hiccups. The location is excellent, being in a quiet area yet still within walking distance of the main attractions. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, but the room had a few maintenance issues that could use attention. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially because of the service I received.

Rooms

Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, just far enough from the busyness of the city center, yet close to everything I wanted to see.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with the cappuccinos being a highlight. However, I felt it could have included more local products.
Facilities

The hotel offered a range of facilities, but I found the room to be pretty small and lacking in power outlets.
